Our easy to use process will step you through the process of how to create and submit your obituary,

To create your obituary now, follow the next steps:

1. Click on the "Get Started" button located on the homepage.
2. Fill out the online form with the necessary information, including the name of the deceased, their date of birth and death, and any other relevant details you would like to include.
3. Upload a photo of the deceased if you'd like to include one.
4. Choose the date(s) you want the obituary to be published on.
5. Preview your obituary to make sure all the information is correct.
6. Submit your payment information to complete the obituary placement process.

If you have any questions or issues while placing your obituary on Obituaries.com, please contact our customer support team who will be happy to help you through the process.

As you create the obituary, the price will display on the second step of the process in the right hand section of the page, and will automatically update based on the publication dates you have selected.

The price of the obituary will vary depending on the amount of text you include, the number of photos added, and the number of publication dates selected.

If there is still time before the deadline for the publication date selected, you can edit your order as many times as needed. You can also cancel the obituary, if needed. Once the deadline passes, you will no longer be able to make changes to the obituary or cancel it.

To edit an obituary on Obituaries.com, follow these steps:

1. Click on the "sign in" button located at the top right of the homepage.
2. Enter the email address you used to create the obituary, an email with a link to securely login to Obituaries.com will be sent to your chosen email address.
3. Click on the link in the email, and you will be taken to your account dashboard.
4. Select the obituary you want to edit.
5. Make the necessary changes to the obituary.
6. Preview your changes to make sure all the information is correct.
7. Confirm changes to complete the obituary editing process.

Please note that some changes, for example adding photos, or increasing the amount of text, to an obituary will mean that there will be an additional cost applied.

Also it's important to note that once an obituary has been published, it is not possible to edit the obituary. If you need assistance after your chosen publication date(s) have passed please contact the Obituaries.com customer support team.

To login in to Obituaries.com, follow these steps:

1. Click on the "sign in" button located at the top right of the homepage.
2. Enter the email address you used to create your account, and click "Sign in with email address"
3. An email with a link to securely login to Obituaries.com will be sent to your chosen email account.
4. Click on the link in the email, and you will be logged in and taken to your account dashboard.

If you have any issues logging in or do not receive an email with the link, please contact the Obituaries.com customer support team for assistance.

If your selected publication offers photo(s), to upload an image follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Add Photos" button that can be found under the main Obituary text box on the first page of the process.
2. You will be prompted to select a photo file from your computer to add.
3. Navigate to the desired photo(s) on your device, and click the upload button.
4. Once a photo has been uploaded, you can access the photo editor, by clicking on the pen icon on the bottom right corner of your uploaded photo.
5. The editor enables you to crop, rotate, and adjust the brightness of the photo.

Once you have an in progress or completed obituary you can go to the account dashboard area of the site and the publication deadline will be displayed.

Yes, in the Cart, you can click the "Edit" link on the right of the page to make changes to the obituary.

You can pay for the obituary by a credit or debit card. We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. "OBITUARIES.COM" will be listed as the merchant on your credit card statement.

If there is still time before the deadline for the publication date selected, you can edit your order as many times as needed. You can also cancel the obituary, if needed.

Once the deadline passes, you will no longer be able to make changes to the obituary or cancel it.

To edit or cancel the obituary, login to your account and select from the available options.

If you canceled an obituary prior to the deadline, a refund will be issued through the original payment method. Refunds may take 3 business days to appear on the card. In general, obituaries are not eligible for revision or cancellation after the publication's deadline. Please contact the Obituaries.com customer support team if you have questions.

An account is required so that the newspaper can contact you should they have any questions about the obituary. Additionally, the obituary order will be saved to your account so that you can manage it further.

To access a saved obituary, login to your account, via the "sign in" button located at the top right of the homepage, and click continue on the obituary you would like to continue creating.

If the publication(s) selected publishes obituaries online, this will be called out in the obituary creation process.

Unfortunately once you have completed your purchase it is not currently possible to change the publishing option you selected. To change this option you must cancel your existing order and resubmit the obituary with the updated publishing option.
